“ There simply aren't enough good things I can say about this place. The food is 100% authentic. We ordered food from here for a party, and everything was delicious and reminded me of how my mom makes it. The flavors are deep, and they did a great job turning down the heat while maintaining the flavors. My favorite, however, was the chai. It's so hard to find a chai that isn't the pre-made Starbucks syrup with entirely too much milk. If you ever want to taste the real chai, have it here. Seriously though, if you are a fan of Indian food and want to try some real authentic food, this is the place for you. ”

“ My significant other had caught wind of this place from social media, and as we are huge Indian food fans, we had to try it out. Golden Sparrow is in the old Adam's Smokehouse spot beside Starbucks and the laundry mat. They have a sign on the street plaque but not on the building yet so unless you know where it's at, you could miss it. We went about 6PM, and the place only had a couple of patrons in there waiting for to-go food. Service was exceptional, five star all around for the welcoming atmosphere, and we even got to converse with the hostess regarding their opening last week. Inside is clean, still under construction but has a lot of open space and room for growth. Food wise, we got the Vegetable Samosas, Butter Chicken, Lamb Biryani and Garlic Naan. First and foremost, the naan here is criminal. It was soft and buttery yet crispy and delicious. Could not have asked for better naan. The butter chicken was great, very hot and the rice was fragrant and seasoned well. On that same note, the Biryani was a HUGE helping - we did not expect to have a family sized plate for four come out! For the price to food ratio, we stuffed ourselves and still brought home half the plates for leftovers. Definitely five star on price, quality of food, and enjoyment. Can't stress enough that if you enjoy Indian, this is the place right now to go and try for yourself. Great service in a decent enough location that serves hot, fresh, great tasting Indian dishes. This is going to be our new spot moving forward. Go try Golden Sparrow!! ”

“ My husband and I come to this restaurant from time to time and love it. It is hands down our favorite Indian place. Their garlic chicken is my go-to dish. It is so flavorful and the chicken melts in your mouth. Cheese naan, rice, and garlic chicken is a heavenly bite! The one downside is that I'm worried they won't be able to stay in business. I don't think the restaurant is in the best location for them to really build a solid customer base. I'll be so sad if they end up closing. I love their food and they're such nice people! ”

“ I recently ordered takeout from here and it was so good! I got Vegetable Samosas that came with a really yummy chutney sauce that was super fresh. The Aloo Paratha, which was naan with a thin layer of potato inside, was delicious. The Mutter Paneer, which was my favorite, had just the right amount of bite and was very flavorful. Although my order wasn't ready when I arrived, the nice man at the counter was very thoughtful and offered me a glass of water while I waited. This small gesture really stood out to me and added to the overall positive experience. This place is definitely a hidden gem. I ordered enough for myself and will definitely have enough for another delicious Indian meal tomorrow night! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for authentic and tasty Indian food. ”
